System Integrating BiopharmaceuticalSolution In One Platform
Natprene® Tubing is our first recommendation for applications requiring a wide chemical compatibility, and is highly resistant to oxidising agents such as O-Zone, Peroxides and Sodium Hypochlorite.
Natprene® is a long life Thermoplastic Elastomer Peristaltic Pump Tubing, which is beige and opaque in colour and has low permeability to Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen. It meets USDA standards for food handling.
Downtime is the enemy of productivity. Natprene® Tubing leads the way where long life and chemical resistance are as vital as economy.
Natprene® lasts at least 10 times as long as alternative tubing made from other materials. This long-life tubing is designed to reduce time lost in production stoppages. Natprene® Tubing is easily fitted to new and existing transfer systems and requires minimal maintenance.
The construction of NATSIL PLATINUM involves a liner of silicone elastomer, an open polyester braid reinforcing layer, and a covering of silicone elastomer. The braid reinforcement allows for increased pressure usage over unreinforced silicone tubing. NATSIL PLATINUM contains no plasticizers. NATSIL PLATINUM’s surface properties resist encrustation and will
not support bacteria growth. It is nonreactive to body tissues and fluids. Care is recommended in the selection and application of fittings and clamps as sharp barbed fittings or unlined metal clamps could tear into the hose wall, possibly leading to hose failure.
NATSIL PLATINUM should not be used for steam transfer. Steamfor-sterilization is the only recommended exposure to steam. If exposed to repeated steam sterilization or long term high temperature or pressure, silicone will eventually become gummy.
It should then be replaced.
NATSIL PLATINUM is supplied in individual, heat-sealed polybags.

PTFE tubing are the highest temperature, chemical and corrosion resistance of all the fluoropolymer tubing available, in standard industrial wall and heavy wall designs along with many custom sizes to application requirements. PTFE tubing is the best in temperature and chemical resistance NRI offers and is used in extreme environments.
A PTFE tube has a non-stick surface that facilitates flow and eliminates media buildup. In many cases, it is used to replace glass, rubber and stainless steel because of its chemical and corrosion resistance. In equipment applications, the vibration damping properties of PTFE are excellent at both sonic and ultrasonic frequencies.
Standard and Metric Series i.e. 101 & 201 PTFE tubing respectively, is natural but it is also available with a conductive I.D. or as a fully conductive tube to reduce static discharge. Natflex customer service can help you with selection for custom designs,
• Resistant to extreme heat or cold (>-100F to +500F)
• Best chemical and corrosion resistance
• Best flex life of all fluoropolymer/fluoroplastic tubing
• Lowest coefficient of friction of all plastics for easy cleaning
• Non-wetting and non-leaching
• Odorless and tasteless makes it ideal for food and beverage
applications
• Resists ultra-violet rays
• Self-extinguishing plastic
• Extruded from virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
• Qualified with Compression Fittings
• Working and burst pressures calculated at 73°F /23°C
• Chemical Resistance:
Fluoropolymers withstand most chemicals and solvents except for
Elemental Sodium, Elemental Potassium, and Elemental Lithium.
Elemental Sodium will remove the fluorine from the polymer molecule
and the other metals have a similar affect.
